Folsom Kids Play For Generations
Supporting parks, building community
Who We Are
Folsom Kids Play - For Generations is a volunteer-led nonprofit working to create safe, fun, and accessible outdoor spaces for families in Folsom.
We help citizens partner with the City of Folsom Parks and Recreation Department to build, improve, and maintain parks. Our goal is to ensure every generation has places to play, explore, and connect with nature.

Current Project: Rebuilding Castle Park
The original 1996 version of Folsom Kids Play Park ["Castle Park"] was a beloved landmark in Folsom for 30 years, but was showing its age (and has since been demolished) to make way for the 2026 version. We lead the charge to garner support for rebuilding this iconic playground. Volunteers will soon bring it back to life - from the ground up - creating a new safe, imaginative, and accessible space for generations to come.
Our Goal
At this juncture, we are in a support role. With the City now in the lead on this project - we will continue to raise the funds and invite the volunteers - all designed to allow the building of a new play space that honors the original structure's legacy and serves Folsom families for decades to come.
